I’m in Haiti right now with Fairwinds Trading and the Everywhere team. Fairwinds works with artisans in Haiti to develop product lines that can be exported and sold; ultimately boosting the Haitian economy and assisting with the rebuild through trade vs. aid. We’re here visiting the metalworkers, painters, and quilters who make products for Heart of Haiti, Fairwinds’ retail partnership with Macys. We’ve only been here for a little over 24 hours and it has already become one of my most rewarding travel experiences.  For more on the trip and the incredible folks I’m traveling with, read this.
